Everything seems to be blooming, finally, and I'm so excited to smell all the wonderful fragrances in the air and see the gorgeous flowers.  Our dogwood tree was hit with this marvelous setting sunlight tonight and now I can't decide if I like the darker forefront and light flowers or the lighter background better.  What do you think??

Day 109 {True to Tuesday}

I had the CRAZIEST day at work today.  Not to mention, had a meeting run late, forgot my access card, got locked out of my office and finally banged loud enough on the doors to get some poor person to open it for me.  Caught my train home in the rain, didn't get to kiss my baby girl goodnight, went to take my picture of the day to find out my only battery (need to remedy that problem) was drained...but all in all; I'm alive, my family is great, I'm happy for what I have.  AND, I treated myself to a late night breakfast.  I'm a sucker for eggs and canadian bacon.

Kind of a weird way to grow plants, but I'm giving it a try.  I have the hardest time keeping indoor plants alive.  Yet, I'm great at outdoor ones (I usually just let the PA rain do its thing)!  Seriously, we have a pretty good garden in the summers and I can't wait to start planting, if Spring would just hurry up and get here already!!

Couldn't find the energy to post last night after a long day at work and even longer night spent finishing up our taxes.  We usually file early, but found out we'd have to owe this year...so we decided there was no rush! ;)

This is a shot of the celebratory cake we had for our Senior class.  They are such a great group of students and we're all very proud of the work they've accomplished!

Day 101 {Monday Me}

The hubby is finally home for good!  He'd been to Switzerland for work, home for one day, and off to the Bahamas for a friend's wedding.  It's nice to have him here with us after two weeks and to look forward to his coming home every evening!!  He surprised me with more than just Swiss chocolate from his trip (which would have been good enough for me!), but this time around he brought home a very pretty Swarovski necklace.  I just had to model it and show off his good work!!

This morning, we came home from church, I ran downstairs to feed the dogs and came back up to find her still in her Sunday best...now accessorized with her rain boots.  Can't beat that combo!
